The three standards resolutions for imaging are 300ppi, 400ppi and 600ppi. According to FADGI 4 standards, we at the digitization lab shoot photographic objects at 600ppi and the rest (letters, manuscripts, typescripts, etc.) at 400ppi.

You can change the resolution by setting the camera at a proper height. At this stage, nothing should be on the table but if there are archival documents/objects out, put them away while you set up the camera’s height. Using the keychain, bring the camera mount up or down the column using the remote control situated at the back. Press both arrows (two up or two down) to go faster, and only the top or bottom arrow for finer tuning. Put the keychains back behind the camera, they shouldn’t hang over as you image.
